Spring into Color Series with FauxLash - Bellflower

No comments:
Welcome, welcome! Have you missed me as much as I've missed you all!? It's been a whole two days!! I really just couldn't wait to share the next look in my Spring into Color series with you guys. Do you wanna know why? Because it's purple, pretty purple perfection. Pantone has named this shade Bellflower, and just like it's namesake this color is dainty yet beautiful. This is definitely the kind of color I think of when I imagine spring. Read on to see more ways to wear this lovely lavendar shade!

Now, don't ask me how the hell a color can be 'creative' (that's all Pantone) but I do think they hit the nail on the head when they called this color fanciful. Just look at that sketch. Don't you just want to flit around a cocktail party in that fabulous frock? No? Just me? Anyways. Bellflower is a springtime essential, and I've yet to meet someone who doesn't look or feel amazing in purple. So without further ado, let's see it in action paired with some fabulous lashes and gorgeous garments.

Now, don't be fooled. Despite the fact that this is now my fourth post - this was the first look I created for the series. I literally couldn't wait to try this color out (I have a purple problem, as you may have noticed from my appx. 1,000,000 looks featuring variations of the hue). The way I decided to wear it may not be the most creative or exciting look I've ever done, but its true beauty lies in the fact that no matter the color of your skin or eyes you simply cannot go wrong with this look. And, to make matters even better it's really just a traditional smokey eye done with pastels. So even if you're just a makeup beginner - this look is sure to be a sensation. What more could you ask for? Plenty! Let me learns you ...

Simple looks like this are what I like to call 'chameleon' looks. Just like your favorite pair of worn in jeans you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. Because this look is a mix of white/grey with pink/purple you can pull out different colors depending on what you wear with it. As you can see here, when worn with bright pink and purple clothes the eyes don't look nearly so intense. Magic! Try it out yourself this Valentine's day! Here's how to play with color:

Start things off at school or work by pairing this look with some fun, festive colorful clothes and your eyes won't be so overpowering. Then let your eyes do the talking all night by switching up your wardrobe to something sultry, slinky and black. Or if that's not your thing, try a subtle sexy greys, creams or lilacs. All you need is a new outfit and some accessories and you've saved yourself hours in front of the makeup mirror. Valentine's Day is stressful enough as it is without the added pressure of having to get ready twice
Okay, these super sexy lashes are the Dark Slants from These babies are the eyelash equivalent to 5 inch black patent leather stiletto pumps. Drama, sex appeal and instant impact. These flared lashes are the perfect solution for elongating your eyes, which is something I always look for as a round eyed gal. If you already have elongated feline eyes then you don't need the help but you'll still benefit from everything these sexy slanted lashes have to offer. Wanna feel sexy this Valentine's day? Here's your answer. Did you go and buy some yet? No? It's okay, I can wait.

Finally, always saving the best for last. Let's check out what Jess of has designed for us today!

Well, I hope whatever your plans this Valentine's Day that you're the Bell(flower) of the Ball! You're all my Valentines!
